“Over the last ten years I have produced the TV show, Shotgun Journal. The show has given me the opportunity to shoot birds all over the world. I hold some of these hunts in fond memory, and our trip with South Pioneers in Argentina to shoot doves and decoying pigeons is one of them. The lodge is modern in comfort and amenities. The food excellent, but the shooting is what I will remember forever — it was the best dove & pigeon shooting I have experienced, anywhere. We had doves passing over us and pigeons diving to our decoy spread all day. I am reluctant to say how many we shot in the three days we hunted, but I will say that Marty and I had a shooting workout, all three days!!”

“We just returned from a fantastic 4 day dove/pigeon hunt. The food and staff are wonderful. The hunting was located a short drive from the lodge and the birds were non-stop. Ramiro de las Carreras, who owns the lodge, was on hand to drive you to the fields and see to every detail. Best dove hunting I have experienced in five trips to Argentina. Laundry service is included in lodge pricing and it was fantastic to have items washed, ironed and folded on your bed when you returned from hunting. A super nice touch to cap a super nice lodge!”

“Three of my pals and I stayed with Ramiro for four days of excellent dove wingshooting. This was our fifth trip to Argentina, all at different lodges. The lodge is very pleasant, has an outdoor pool that we used every day. The food prepared by Dino is as good as you get. Ramiro is hands on: he drove us to the fields every day, oversaw the bird boys, drove us to the airport. He pays great attention to detail. The shooting was varied and the birds flew all day, highly recommended”
